I noticed a while back that you had a different site motto, in French or something.
Something like, ’circonspect si possible, courageux si necessaire’?
Yes, although it was slightly different…?
Yes well that would be my personal motto, which basically means ’sneaky when possible, brave when necessary.’ I used that as the site tagline at first, but later on gave the site its own motto.
Right. Life that bad, then?
Well, not now, but 2006 I had a phantom illness that had started the year before and slowly got worse and worse (low-level appendicitis, I eventually found out when it turned acute) and which doctors couldn’t diagnose, and had a great deal of difficulty with the university course I was doing, so yeah, life kinda sucked. But it’s ‘kay now.
I’ve noticed some posts have later been changed, or even deleted completely. Why is that?
Eh, that would be because my dad has become unofficial beta for this site. That is, he googles for my site while he’s at work, sees if there’s anything he objects to, and sends me a stern and unhappy email about it if there is. I miss the days when I could write stuff here without friends or family on it; it makes it so hard to complain about them when they’re reading every word.
That’s not very nice.
No, but true, right? Besides, everyone needs an outlet for their frustration, huh?
